The GE Skills Development Centre in Jandakot, WA, is part of a custom-built, state-of-the art technology and learning complex that offers students tailored training programs of Baker Hughes equipment, controls as well as tailored leadership skill courses.
The Bari site is a 230,000 m² plant fully dedicated to the design and fabrication of pumps and industrial valves. This training facility is equipped with:<br>

Students can experience training courses on any type of GE centrifugal pumps and have ready access to the shop floor where they can see exactly how our pumps are manufactured, assembled and tested.

In addition, the Center features numerous cut-out scale models of machines, training aids to support the learning process.
Massa Training facility is specialized to provide courses for aero derivative equipment, and includes a fully equipped classroom close to the Aero derivative Service Shop. It represents an important support for the students during the learning experience, providing an intimate view of the internal components of gas turbines being serviced. It also equipped with:<br>

The control room is connected to a test cell with an LM2500 SAC gas turbine to give students first-hand start-up experience.

Students can simulate operations and gain hands-on experience with the panel experiencing a better learning experience. Leadership and soft skills courses are also available in the Center.
The GE Regional Training Center in Port Harcourt Nigeria is the first GE facility of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa and can offer both technical and leadership courses. The Center includes two fully equipped classrooms with:<br>

The facility houses a gas turbine control panel simulator and other instructional materials, such as machined cut-outs, showing components, parts, displays designed to experience trainees on the operational features of GE equipment.
